Using the Remote Control
Quick starts
■ Turning your TV on and off
To turn your TV on: Connect the TV to an AC power outlet and an external antenna, thenturnonthe power via
switch locatedbelow the front right hand side of unit. A few seconds later an image will appear on thescreen.
Setup wizard-select yourstate and press OK, Thenpress OK agai
ntostartthe Tuning process.
● Turning off to standby mode:Press [Power Standby ] on the back RHS panelor on theremote control to
switch to standby mode. You can activate the unitagainbypressing [Power Standby ].
● Power indicator:Light indicates standby mode.There will be no light whenthe power switch is inthe off
position.
Notes:
Turnthe power switch off when you do not intend to use the TV for long periods,forexample overnight. Remove
the connection from the wall power outlet if you do not intend to use the unitfor longer periods,forexampleif
you plan to be away a few days.Waitatleast5seconds after tur
ning off if you want to re-startthe TV.
■ Selecting the video source
● Selecting the video source depending on the videodevice you have connectedtoyour TV.
● To select the video source:
Press [Sourc
e].Whenthe listofvideo sources appears,press [▲/▼]toselect thesource,thenPress [OK] to
enter.
[D/A] button: press the [D/A] button to switch betweenthe Digital/Analog TV signal input.
■ Adjusting the volume
● To adjustthe volume:
Press [VOL+/VOL- ] to increase or decrea
se the volume.Press [Mute]toturnthesound off. Press [Mute]
againtoturnthesound back on.
■ Changing channels
● To change channels:
Press [CH+/CH-] to go to the next higher or lower channel. Or,Press the number buttons to select a channel.
Forexample,toselect channel 12, press 1, then2.Or,press [last] to go to the lastviewe
d channel.
■ Selecting thesound mode
● To select thesound mode:
Press the [Sound] button to select between4different pre-adjusted sound modes:
Standard, Music,movie,Speech, and User(configurable mode). The User mode preserves your preferred
sound settings after using the Equali
zer available under the Sound submenu.
