1. CYLINDER HEAD COVER REMOVAL
Remove the following parts.
- Engine cover (P. 4-2)
- Alternator cover (P. 7-2)
- Ignition coil/regulator/rectifier (P. 18-23)
1) Remove the main wire harness from the recess in the
cylinder head cover.
Remove the breather tube from the cylinder head cover.
3) Remove the oil tube from the cylinder head cover.
2) Remove the fuel strainer (low pressure side) and the
strainer suspension as a set from the fuel strainer stay.
Remove the two 6 x 14 mm flange bolts, and remove the
fuel strainer stay from the cylinder head cover.
