SERVICING YOUR GENERATOR
SPARK PLUG SERVICE
Recommended spark plugs: BPR6ES (NGK)
To ensure proper engine operation, the spark plug must be properly
gapped and free of deposits.
An incorrect spark plug can cause engine damage.
If the engine is hot, allow it to cool before servicing the spark plug.
1.Open the left maintenance cover by turning its latch
counterclockwise.
2.Loosen the cover screw and remove the spark plug inspection cover.
3.Disconnect the spark plug cap, and remove any dirt from around the
spark plug area.
4.Remove the spark plug with the spark plug wrench.
