Draining the Fuel Tank

Unscrew the fuel tank cap, remove the fuel filter, and empty the fuel

tank into an approved gasoline container. We recommend using a

commercially available gasoline hand pump to empty the tank. Do not

use an electric pump. Siphon the gasoline by inserting the tip of the

hand pump into the side of the pump guard. Reinstall the fuel filter and

the fuel tank cap.

Gasoline is highly flammable and

explosive.

You can be burned or seriously

injured when handling fuel.

• Stop the engine and keep heat,

sparks, and flame away.

• Handle fuel only outdoors.

• Wipe up spills immediately.
