10.3 Detector replacement
Replacement of fire and diagnostic detectors (4-zone module)
Diagnostic fire detectors can be replaced without adjustment of the detector address on the base circuit board or
overwriting data with the service PC. The menu options >Detector replacement< is inoperable for these detectors.
Replacement of intelligent detectors Series 9200 (loop)
Any number of detectors series 9200 / IQ8Quad or esserbus
®
transponders in an loop can be replaced. The
replacement of detectors can be carried out in many cases without the service PC. (See table)

find out whether the replacement can be carried out
without the service PC.

Replacement of detectors is completed.

Check the execution of the
replacement and reactivate
Replace detector function.
Switch the primary loop, detector
zone or detector. Replacement
of detectors is completed.
connect service-PC and
carry out automatic wiring
ring loop.
Enter the installation code, select primary loop
function, enter the primary loop number and select
function 4 "replace detector".
On the primary loop all zones and the Primary loop
are indicated on the display with "TEST"

Exchange all detectors which are to be replaced
in the loop. Screw the new detectors tightly into
the detector bases, do not damage connecting cables.
Enter the installer code, select primary loop function,
enter the primary loop number and
select function 2 "swich off"
