4.7.3 Display Gas Reading
To check the gas reading from the Cross-Duct Searchline Excel, follow the procedure described
in Chapter 5, section 5.2.
4.8 PROBLEM SOLVING
Any problems encountered with the Cross-Duct Excel are likely to be similar to those affecting
the Open-Path version. See Chapter 6 for a problem solving guide.
The beam from the Transmitter is invisible, but during normal operation, the Transmitter can be
heard ticking at 4Hz. In addition, when cleaning the optical surfaces include the beamsplitter
and the retro-reflector panel.
