The belt
-/he belt drives the agitator and is
important for the efficient opera-
tion of your cleaner. Because of
this, when buying a new belt, you
should always insist on a genuine
HOOVER belt. Some other belts
on the market, not manufactured
under the Hoover design and
quality controls, may not operate
the agitator correctly and may
damage your cleaner.
When to replace belt
Check from time to time to be sure
the belt is in good condition. If it
is stretched, cut, or broken, it
should be replaced.
