and elsewhere in the manual. T ab le 6-2 contains the
names and addresses th at correspond to the manufacturer
code numbers . Table 6-3 lists all re placeable parts in
reference desi gnator order.

lists, schematics and elsewhere in the manual. In some
cases two forms of the abbre vi ations are used, one a ll in
cap ital letter s, and one partial or no capitals. This occurs
beca u se the abbrev i ations in the parts lists are alway.s all
capitals. H owever, in the sch ematics and ot her parts of
the manu a l, the same abbreviations may h ave upp er and
lower case letters.

the following :

Th e Hew l ett- Pa ckard part number.
b. The total quantity ( ,oty ) in t he in strument.
Th is is given on ly once for each part - at the
first ap pe arance of the p art in the list.
c.
The descrip t io n of the part.
d. A typical manuf ac turer of the part in a
five·digit
code.
e. Th e ma nufacture r's code n umber for the
part.
f. P art number check digit (CD).

digit) , indic a te the qu a ntity required, and address the
order to the nearest H ew l ett·Packard office (list of Sales!

will ens ure accurate a nd timely proce ssing of your order.

able parts ta ble , include the in strument model number,
instrument serial num ber, the description and function
of the part , and the number of parts require d , address
