power, and the battery is fully charged.

Amber: The computer is connected to external
power, and the battery is charging.
●
Blinking amber: The computer is connected to
external power and there is a battery error or
the battery has reached a low or critical battery
level.
●
Off: The computer is running on battery power.

Item Component Description
(1) Battery cover release latch Releases the battery cover.
(2) Vent Enables airflow to cool internal components.
NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool
internal components and prevent overheating. It is
normal for the internal fan to cycle on and off during
routine operation.
(3) Battery cover lock latch Locks the battery cover into place.
