NOTE: The NFC board spare part kit does not include the NFC board cable. The NFC board cable is included in the Cable
Kit, spare part number 672006-001.
Before removing the NFC board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see
Battery on page 31).
Remove the NFC board:
1.
Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure the NFC board to the system board.
2. Turn the NFC board upside down, with the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector and cable
toward you.
