1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 28).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 28).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 29).
Remove the WWAN module:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures from the bracket on the WWAN module, and
then remove the bracket (2).
2. Disconnect the antenna cables from the terminals (3) on the WWAN module.
3. Remove the WWAN module by pulling the module away from the slot at an angle (4).
4. If the WWAN antenna is not connected to the terminal on the WWAN module, a protective sleeve
must be installed on the antenna connector, as shown in the following illustration.
To install the WWAN module, reverse this procedure.
