6. Lift inside of the board up, and then pull the board (2) into the computer to remove it.
To install the USB board, reverse this procedure.
Heat sink
To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 28).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 28).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 29).
Remove the heat sink:
1. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (1) and the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 broad head screws (2)
that secure the heat sink to the system board.
