6.2 Powering On the System
Precautions
Before the equipment is put into operation for the rst time, ensure that the
parameters are set correctly by professional personnel. Incorrect parameter
settings may result in noncompliance with local grid connection requirements and
aect the normal operations of the equipment.
● Before turning on the AC switch between the SUN2000 and the power grid, use
a multimeter set to the AC position to check that the AC voltage is within the
specied range.
● If the DC is on and the AC is o, the SUN2000 reports a Grid Failure alarm.
The SUN2000 starts normally only after the fault is automatically
rectied.
Procedure
Step 1 Turn on the AC switch between the SUN2000 and the power grid.
Step 2 (Optional) Remove the locking screw from the DC switch.

Step 3 If there is a DC switch between the PV string and the inverter, turn on the DC
switch.
Step 4 Set the DC SWITCH at the bottom of the SUN2000 to the ON position.
