15.7 Installing the headlight mask with the headlight

Connect plug-in connectors

Position the headlight mask and secure it with rubber bands

The holding lugs engage in the fender.

and wiring harness
in the brake line guide.
Finishing work
– Check the headlight setting. ( p. 91)
15.8 Changing the headlight bulb
Note
Damage to reflector Reduced brightness.
– Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease
before mounting.
Preparatory work
– Switch off all power consumers and switch off the engine.
– Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 89)

Main work
–
Turn protection cap
together with the underlying bulb socket counterclock-
wise all the way and remove it.
–
Pull bulb socket
of the parking light out of the reflector.
