Install the consumables

The plasma arc comes on im me di ate ly when the torch trigger is activated. Makesure
the power is OFF before changing consumables.
To operate the T45v torch, it must have a complete set of consumable parts installed: a shield or deflector, retaining
cap, nozzle, swirl ring and electrode.
With the power switch in the OFF (O) position, verify that the torch consumables are installed as shown.
Retaining cap
Nozzle
Electrode
Swirl ring
Note: Tighten only to finger-tight. Overtightening
will cause the torch to misfire.
Shield or deflector
There should be a small gap
between the consumables and the
torch handle. Air will blow out from
this gap during normal operation.
