Installing a SAS 4-port host interface adapter
If you purchased an FC ACHJ SAS 4-port host interface adapter that was not
pre-installed for you, you must install it in the node canister.
Before you begin
The SAS 4-port host interface adapter is installed in the node canisters in the
control enclosure. If your control enclosure has two node canisters, you must
install the same options in both canisters. Do not start installation until you have
two of the SAS 4-port host interface adapter options.
Procedure
To install the host interface adapter, complete the following steps.
1. Loosen the retaining thumbscrew ▌1▐ as shown in Figure 21.
