To maximize the readability of your transmitted signal,
pause a second after pushing . Hold the microphone 5
to 10 cm
(2 to 4 inches) from your mouth, and speak at
your normal voice level.
The transceiver has a power save function to conserve
the battery power. The power save function automatically
activates when no signal is received for 5 seconds.
To prevent accidental prolonged transmission, the trans-
ceiver has a time-out timer function*. This timer cuts
OFF a transmission after 5 minutes of continuous trans-
mission.
