3. Drag the optional modules you require from the Devices section and drop them to the Control
panel structure:
Note: SmartLoop2080\P and SmartLoop1010\P models can be enhanced with an on-board thermal
printer (SmartLoop/PRN). Installation of a thermal printer automatically excludes the connection
of a printer to the RS232 port.
The SmartLetUSee/LCD Repeaters must be dragged and dropped to the RS485 BUS.
The SmartLetUSee/LED (LED expansions) must be dragged and dropped to the control panel
frontplate or to a SmartLetUSee/LCD.
The ‘T’ junctions can be dragged and dropped to any part of the loop.
4. From the system structure select the loop you wish to configure.
5. Select the System Programming page, and ensure the loop type is correct.
6. Select the System Layout, and in the section regarding the type of loop you have selected
(Apollo or Argus) expand the device typology, drag and drop one device at a time to the Control
panel configuration loop section.
Note: To delete a component from the Control panel configuration, simply select the device concerned
and press CANC.
11.3 How to program the control panel
Proceed with the programming phase of each component in the system structure:
1. Select the component from the system structure.
2. Select the Programming page and change the parameters as required. Changes can be saved by
means of the Save command only (from the menu or by right-clicking from any other point).
11.4 Programming flow for the network control panels
Under most circumstances, you can proceed as follows:
1. Program the control panels in accordance with the type of application.
2. Using the control panel consoles (keypads and displays), assign the network address to each
control panel.
3. Connect the computer to each control panel, download the configuration and program its functions
in the network.
