8 SETUP
8.1 SET UP
IMPORTANT!
CALIFORNIA PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE,
SECTIONS 4428-4442, REQUIRE SPARK
ARRESTERS WHEN OPERATING ANY
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE USING
HYDROCARBON FUELS, ON FOREST-, BRUSH-
, OR GRASS-COVERED LANDS.
Check the hydraulic system. Make sure the
connections are tight and all hoses and lines are
in good condition before pressurizing the
system. Hydraulic system should be allowed to
warm-up and re-check connections for leaks.
NOTE:Any reference to the right, left, front, or
rear of the unit will always be determined
from the operators seated position.
If a leak is suspected, use a piece of
cardboard or wood, NOT your hand, to
check for leaks.
Hydraulic Fluid escaping under pressure
can penetrate skin and do serious
damage. Immediate medical assistance
must be sought.
Serious infection or reaction can develop
if proper medical treatment is not
administered immediately.
