Initial Precautions for New Machine Usage

CAUTION
If the machine is operated at full load, before its initial
run-in procedure is complete it may cause scuffing and
seizing which can adversely effect the life of the
machine.

A new machine is only dispatched when it has completed all
its inspection procedures, but operating it under severe
conditions from new will affect its performance and shorten
its service life.
1. Carry out the Daily inspection procedure
2. Always warm up the machine sufficiently
3. Hold the engine speed to 80% of the maximum
4. Check to see if the machine is running normally
5. Avoid running or swinging the machine rapidly
6. Avoid sudden shocks e.g. suddenly stopping the boom
when lowering
7. Where applicable, grease the front pins daily
8. At 50 hrs carry out servicing
