Adjust
the
timing
between
the
needle
and
the
hook
as
follows:
1) Turn
the
handwheel to bright
the
needle
bar
down to
the
lowestpointofitsstroke, and loosen setscrew
O.

needle

2)
Align
marker lineO on needle bar O
with
the bottomend of
needle bar
lower
bushing
O,
then tightensetscrew
O.
(Adjusting position of
the
hook
O)
3) Loosen
the
three hook
setscrews,
turn the handwheel
and
align marker line0 on ascending needle bar O
with
the
bottom
end of needle bar lowerbushing
O.
4) After making the adjustments mentioned in the
above
steps,
align
hook blade point0
with
the center of needle O •
Provide a
clearance
of
0.06
mm to 0.1 mm (reference value)
between
the
needle
and
the
hook,
then
securely
tighten
setscrews
in
the
hook.

smaller
than
the

damaged.
If

clearance
