ATTENTION
Danger of burns
The gearbox can be very hot after use. Al-
low the device to cool down before replac-
ing the brushes.
1. Unscrew and remove the brush fasten-
ers.
2. Pull out the worn brushes.
3. Fit the new brushes.
4. Fit and tighten the brush fasteners.

Cleaning the water filter
Note
If the water flow is inadequate then the wa-
ter filter in the device must be cleaned.
1. Unscrew the plug connector at the water
connection.
2. Pull out the water filter.
3. Clean the water filter under running wa-
ter against the normal flow direction.

4. Fit the water filter.
5. Screw on the plug connector.
Ensure that the sealing ring in the plug con-
nector has been inserted correctly.

Improper cleaning
Damage to the device
Do not clean the device with a hose or high-
pressure water jet.
Do not use aggressive detergents.
Do not knock the brush on the ground.
1. Remove soiling, plant residue and sand/
stone from the brush.
2. If necessary, remove the brushes and
clean them under running water.
3. Clean the device with a moist cloth.
Troubleshooting guide
Malfunctions often have simple causes that
you can remedy yourself using the follow-
ing overview. When in doubt, or in the case
of malfunctions not mentioned here, please
contact your authorised Customer Service.
Device does not run or switches off dur-
ing operation
No voltage supply
Check the voltage supply (plug connec-
tions of the extension cable).
The fault current protection switch has trig-
gered
Check the in-house fault current protec-
tion switch. Consult a qualified electri-
cian if the fault occurs frequently.
The motor overload switch has triggered
Allow the device to cool down (at least 5
minutes). The motor overload switch re-
sets automatically and the device is
ready for operation again.
The power switch must not be
pressed during the cooling phase to
avoid the device starting up unex-
pectedly. Always wait for the speci-
fied cooling time before restarting the
device.
Unsatisfactory cleaning results
Dirty brushes
Clean the air brushes.
Worn brushes
Replace the brushes.
Clogged water filter
Cleaning the water filter
Replace the water filter
Clogged water nozzles
Have the water nozzles replaced by an
authorised Customer Service depart-
ment.

your appliance within the warranty period
free of cost, provided that a material or
manufacturing defect is the cause. In a war-
ranty case, please contact your dealer (with
the purchase receipt) or the next author-
