You can find out which air conditioning
refrigerant is applied your vehicle at
the label inside of the engine room.
Refer to “Refrigerant label” on page
9-21 for more detailed location of the
air conditioning refrigerant label.
Checking the amount of air

onditioner refrigerant and
compressor lubricant
When the amount of refrigerant is low,
the performance of the air conditioning
is reduced. Overfilling also has a bad in‐
fluence on the air conditioning system.
Therefore, if abnormal operation is
found, have the system inspected by a
professional workshop.
Kia recommends to visit an authorized
Kia dealer/service partner.

Because the refrigerant is

air conditioning system
should only be serviced
by trained and certified
technicians.
It is important that the correct type
and
amount of oil and refrigerant is
used.
Otherwise, it may cause damage to
the vehicle and personal injury.

our vehicle is filled with R-134a or
R-1234yf according to the regula‐
tion in your country at the time of
producing. You can find out which air
conditioning refrigerant is applied
your vehicle at the label inside of en‐

location of air conditioning refriger‐
ant label.
