Features of your vehicle Sunroof
Sunroof (if equipped)
If your vehicle is equipped with a
sunroof, you can slide or tilt your
sunroof with the sunroof control
lever located on the overhead con
-
sole.
The sunroof can only be opened,
closed, or tilted when the ignition
switch is in the ON position.
䳜 In cold and wet climates, the sun
-
roof may not work properly due
to freezing conditions.
䳜 After a vehicle is washed or in a
rainstorm be sure to wipe off any
water that is on the sunroof
before operating it.
䳜 Do not continue to move the sun
-
roof control lever after the sun
-
roof is fully opened, closed, or
tilted. Damage to the motor or
system components could occur.
䳜 Make sure the sunroof is closed
fully when leaving your vehicle.
If the sunroof is open, rain or
snow may leak through the sun
-
roof and wet the interior as well
as cause theft.
The sunroof cannot slide when it is
in the tilt position nor can it be tilted
whilst in an open or slide position.
Never adjust the sunroof or sun
-
shade whilst driving. This could
result in loss of control and an acci
-
dent that may cause death, serious
injury, or property damage.
䳜 In order to prevent accidental
operation of the sunroof, espe
-
cially by a child, do not let a child
operate the sunroof.
䳜 Do not sit on the top of the vehi
-
cle. It may cause vehicle damage.
