Assembl
y of crankcase cover
1. Clean any remaining sealant on the cylinder
block and crankcase cover with cloth.
2.
Apply gasket sealant on the cylinder block sealing face, as shown.
3. Reassemble the crankcase cover in
the opposite direction of disassembly
.
Caution
Install the crankcase cover on the cylinder blo
ck within three minutes afte
r applying sealant.
Revolve the crankshaft if necessary
.
