SERVICE PROCEDURE
CLEAN CENTRAL BREATHER BOX AND CENTRAL BREATHER AIR CLEANER
(Dusty area specification machine)
WARNING
If compressed air scattered around dust and debris, there is danger of injury. Always wear protective equipment such as
protective glasses and mask.
1.
Remove wing nut (1), then remove the element from the air
cleaner.
2.
Direct dry compressed air (less than 0.69 MPa (7 kg/ cm
2
, 99.4
PSI)) to the element from inside along its folds, then direct it
from outside along its folds and again from inside.
3.
Install the element in the air cleaner, then install wing nut (1).
4.
Remove bolts (2), then remove cover (3).
5. Remove 3 breathers from inside the box, then rinse out the dirt
inside with cleaner diesel fuel or flushing oil.
6.
Check that there is no oil or fuel collected inside the box. If
there is any oil or fuel, clean the inside of the box.
7.
Install cover (3) with bolts (2).
