SERVICE PROCEDURE
CLEAN, CHECK RADIATOR FINS AND AFTER COOLER FINS
WARNING
If compressed air scattered around dust and debris, there is danger of injury. Always wear protective equipment such as
protective glasses and mask.
If the radiator fins become clogged or bent, this may cause
overheating of the engine, so always clean or carry out inspection
and take the necessary actions.
Cleaning can be carried out by using jets of air, steam, or water,
but be careful not to let the nozzle contact the fin.
Air pressure : Max. 0.98 MPa (10 kg/cm

When using compressed air or steam, keep the nozzle at a right
angle to the radiator and after cooler.
Examine the rubber hose, and if any cracks or brittle places are
found, replace the hose. In addition, check also for loose hose
clamps.
CHECK FAN BELT TENSION, ADJUST
TESTING
The deflection should be approx. 17 to 19 mm (0.67 to 0.75 in)
when a point midway between the fan pulley and tension pulley is
pressed with the thumb with a force of 98 N (10 kg).
