Main work
– Disconnect electric plug-in connection 1 of the fuel pump.
– Thoroughly clean plug-in connection 2 of the fuel line using compressed air.
Info
Under no circumstances should dirt enter into the fuel line. Dirt in the fuel
line clogs the injection valve.

– Disconnect the plug-in connection of the fuel line.
– Mount wash cap set A.
Wash cap set (81212016000)
– Remove the tube from the fuel tank breather.

– Remove screws 3 with the collar bushing.

– Remove screw 4 with the rubber bushing.

– Pull both spoilers off of the sides of the radiator bracket and lift off the fuel tank.

Danger
Fire hazard Fuel is highly flammable.
– Never refuel the vehicle near open flames or burning cigarettes, and always switch off the engine first. Be careful that no
fuel is spilt, especially on hot vehicle components. Clean up spilt fuel immediately.
– Fuel in the fuel tank expands when warm and can escape if the tank is overfilled. See the notes on refueling.
