7.14 MTC display (optional)

area of the display indicates whether MTC ( p. 100) (op-
tional) is switched on or off.
The motorcycle traction control can be switched on or off in
the MTC submenu (optional).
7.15 Coolant temperature indicator

The coolant temperature is displayed by a symbol. The symbol
changes between LOW, OK and HOT depending on the temperature.
Note
Engine failure Overheating damages the engine.
– If the coolant temperature warning is displayed, stop imme-
diately and take care not to endanger yourself or other traffic
participants in the process.
– Allow the engine and cooling system to cool down.
– Check and, if necessary, correct the coolant level on the cool-
ing system while it is in a cooled state.
Info
If the coolant temperature indicator shows HOT, the indica-
tor also starts to flash.
If the cooling system overheats, the maximum engine
speed is limited.
Possible states
• The engine is cold – The coolant temperature indicator
shows LOW.
• Engine warm – The coolant temperature indicator shows OK.
• Engine hot – The coolant temperature indicator shows HOT.
7.16 Fuel level display

The fuel level display consists of the fuel range display and a bar.
The higher the bar is filled, the more fuel is in the fuel tank
