Ignition lock
The ignition lock has 3 switching positions.
Ignition off, (engine can't be started)
Ignition on, light on, (engine can be started)
Ignition off, handlebar blocked
To switch the ignition to position turn the ignition key to position and firmly press it
into the lock. Turn the handlebar to the left, then turn the ignition key to the left.
The ignition key can be withdrawn in position and .
NOTE:
Only the black ignition keys may be used (primary key or reserve key). The vehicle cannot
be started with the orange master key - it can only be used for programming the immobi-
lizer. Always keep the orange master key and the keycode card in a safe place!

Immobilizer
The immobilizer secures the vehicle against unauthorized use. When the ignition is switched
off and the key is removed, the red indicator lamp [1] begins blinking after one minute with
a 15-second interval to indicate that the immobilizer is activated. The starter, fuel supply
and ignition system are now locked.
