Installation of the Female Hitch and
Pivot Assembly (Figure 3)
1. Attach the female hitch and pivot
assembly (item 1) to the broom housing
(item 2) with two 5/8"NC X 2" lg hex bolts
(item 3), pivot bushings (item 4), 5/8"
(Ø 11/16" int.) flat washers (item 5), 5/8"
lockwashers (item 6) and 5/8"NC nylon
insert locknuts (item 7) exactly in the order
shown.
Installation of the Shock Absorber
(Figure 4)
1. Insert the spacer (item 1) on the 5/8" pin of
the broom housing (item 2).
2. Insert a 5/8" (Ø 41/64" int.) flat washer
(item 3) on the 5/8" pin of the broom pivot
(item 4).
3. Attach the shock absorber (item 5) with 5/8"
(Ø 41/64" int.) flat washers (item 3) and
Ø1/8" x 1" lg cotter pins (item 6) as
illustrated.
