Chute & Rotation (FIGURE BELOW)
For chute and rotation assembly, return the
snowblower to its normal position.
1. Install hand guard on chute with the bolted
section inside the chute and the bottom
section outside the chute base ring. From the
outside insert two 1/4" NC x 3/4" hex bolts
(item 1), and from inside the chute install the
5/16" dia. hole flatwashers, 1/4" lockwashers
and 1/4" NC hex nuts. Tighten securely.
2. Remove rotation support from fan discharge.
3. Place rotation bushing over fan discharge,
placing the marker up and to the right of the
snowblower.
4. Insert the 1 5/16" plastic bushing (item 2) in
welded tube.
5. Insert the 1 11/16" long plastic bushing (item
3) in rotation support and slide rotation worm
in bushings (items 2-3) by placing the rotation
support on the underside of fan discharge.
6. Install chute over rotation bushing and secure
with four retaining plates, using two 1/4" NC x
3/4" hex. bolts, 1/4" lockwashers and 1/4" NC
hex nuts in the rear left retaining plate which
also secures the rotation support, and six 1/4"
NC x 1/2" hex bolts (item 4), 1/4" lockwashers
and 1/4" NC hex nuts in the three remaining
retaining plates. Tighten all bolts.
