REMOVING SNOWBLOWER FROM SUBFRAME
WARNING: To avoid serious injury:
Park the tractor on level ground, set to
neutral, apply parking brake, disengage
drive pulley, place all control levers to
neutral, shut off the engine, remove the
ignition key and make sure all parts in
rotation have stopped before leaving the
operator's seat and dismounting the
snowblower from the tractor.
1. (FIGURE 16) Select a level surface and
lower the snowblower to the ground.
 Remove rotation handle and handle tube
(see Figure 15).
 Remove rotation handle support (item 3).
 Remove lifting arm (item 4).
 Remove belt guard (item 1).
 Disengage the belt idler handle (item 2) by
pushing it upward.
 Remove lower belt 4800008 (item 5) from
the subframe's 4" dia. lower pulley, as
shown on figure 16.
2. (FIGURE 17) Remove the 5/8" x 8 7/8" pin
(item 1).
 Remove the two 5/8" x 1 7/8" pins (item 2).
 Move the snowblower forward.
 Remove the belt guide and the belt (item 6)
from the tractor drive pulley (not shown).
 Remove the 1/2" x 1" rear pins (item 3) and
the tractor front pins (item 4). Remove the
subframe (item 5).
