Thenameofeachsubfolderisthenumberofaxmodule.Forinformationabouteachxmodule,goto
theMicrosoftKnowledgeBasehomepageathttp://support.microsoft.com/,typethenumberofthex
moduleyouneedinthesearcheld,andclickSearch.
Toinstallaxmodule,runtheEXEleinasubfolderandfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Note:Ifyouremovetheharddiskdrivefromthecomputerwithasingle-coreprocessorandinstallitona
computerwithadual-coreprocessor,youcangetaccesstotheharddiskdrive.Theopposite,however,is
nottrue:Ifyouremovetheharddiskdrivefromacomputerwithadual-coreprocessorandinstallitona
computerwithasingle-coreprocessor,youcannotgetaccesstotheharddiskdrive.

Beforeyoustart,printtheseinstructions.
ToinstalltheWindows8operatingsystemanditsrelatedsoftwareonyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.StartThinkPadSetup.
2.SelectStartup➙Boot.
3.ChangethebootpriorityordertobootyourcomputerfromthedrivethatcontainstheWindows
8operatingsysteminstaller.
4.PressF10.
5.ConnectthedrivethatcontainstheWindows8operatingsysteminstallertoyourcomputer,and
restartthecomputer.
6.InstalltheIntelChipsetSupportforWindows2000/XP/Vista/7/8.
