SymptomAction
Thecomputerdoesnotstart
whenyoupressthepower
switch.
Verifythat:
•Thepowercordiscorrectlyconnectedtotherearofthecomputerandtoa
workingelectricaloutlet.
•Thepowerindicatoronthefrontofthecomputerison.
•Thecomputervoltagematchesthevoltageavailableattheelectricaloutletfor
yourcountryorregion.
Themonitorscreenisblank.
Verifythat:
•Thepowercordiscorrectlyconnectedtotherearofthecomputerandtoa
workingelectricaloutlet.
•Thecomputervoltagematchesthevoltageavailableattheelectricaloutletfor
yourcountryorregion.
•Thebrightnessandcontrastcontrolsaresetcorrectly.
TheUSBkeyboardormouse
doesnotwork.
Verifythat:
•Thecomputeristurnedon.
•ThekeyboardormouseiscorrectlyconnectedtooneoftheUSBconnectors
onthecomputer.
•Forthekeyboard,nokeysarestuck.

Theoperatingsystemdoesnot
start.
