4.2.7.2 Motor connection
We recommend the use of shielded motor cables only, because of the EMC safety.
Tip!
The shielding of the motor cable is only required to comply with existing standards (e.g. VDE0160,
EN 50178).

Correct shield connection with shielded cables
(required parts in the accessory kit):
• Screw shield plate Q on fixing bracket. R
• Fix the shield of the motor cable and thermal contact, if
necessary, (see
^ 4-28 ) with cable lugs. Do not use as a
strain relief!
• To improve the shield connection: Connect shields
additionally to the PE stud next to the motor connections.
