Outdoor unit fan motor is experiencing first
position sensor failure.
1. Fan motor is defective or the assembly is
not correct.
2. Fan motor has disconnected (U,V,W out-
put).
3. Fan PCB is defective.
Is the fan motor assembly
correct?
Check if the outdoor unit fan motor assembly is
correct or if it is locking up.

resistance of the motor output
terminal correct?
1. Check the resistance between each motor output terminal.
2. Check insulation resistance between the outdoor unit fan motor termi-
nals (U,V,W) and the pipe (>100M).

1. Check if the color of the motor output terminal
(U,V,W) connections match the PCB connections.
2. Check for wiring damage, or if the wiring has discon-
