General problems with the equipment
Problem
Cleaning agent
disappears
too quickly
Cause
•Excessive organic growth
in the water
•Temperature too high
•Low pH
•Low pH corrosion of metal
connections
•Low calcium hardness
•Low total alkalinity
Solution
•Increase shock dosage; add cleaning agent; shower before
using the spa
•Reduce the temperature
•Increase the pH using sodium bicarbonate.
•If metals are present, use a chelate. Keep the pH value at
the right level (7.0 to 7.5).
•If metals are present, use a chelate. Keep the levels of calcium
at at least 150-200 mg/l.
•If metals are present, use a chelate. Keep the alkalinity at
the right level for the type of cleaning agent being used.
NOTE: If the water in your spa has a high content of metals or minerals, you must use a special
chemical product to prevent spots or deposits. This manual describes the most common problems
with the water when using a spa fitted with an ozonator. Consult your supplier if you have any further
questions about the water quality.

•Improper maintenance
•To many solid particles
in the water
Solution
•Reset spa
•Add water until it reaches the fill line on the skimmer
•See temperature/heating instructions See adjustment
instructions on page 13
