Selecting the operating mode
Button : allows you to choose between differ-
ent operating modes.

Press button : to change the operating
mode.
The operating mode selected appears in the
instrument cluster (
Y page 245).
If it is not possible to change operating
modes, the display message Change the
current drive program before chang‐
ing the operating mode. or Exit man‐
ual drive program M before changing
the operating mode. appears in the multi-
function display. Further information on "Dis-
play messages" (
Y page 299).

during manual gearshifting (
Y page 251), only
the HYBRID operating mode is available.
If you switch from the Sport drive program to
the Comfort drive program, the HYBRID oper-
ating mode remains selected.
