unction of display messages
Display messages appear on the instrument clus-
ter.
The display messages with graphic displays can be
displayed in simplied format in the Operator's
Manual and may deviate from the display on the
instrument cluster. The instrument cluster shows
high-priority display messages in red. In addition, a
warning tone sounds for specic display mes-
sages.
Act in accordance with the display messages and
comply with the additional instructions in this
Operator's Manual.
In addition, symbols are shown for some display
messages:

Hide display messages
You can use the le-hand T
ouch Control to select
between the symbols by swiping to the le or right.
Pressing ¤ displays further information on the
instrument cluster. Pressing O hides the display
message.
You can hide low-priority display messages by
pressing the ¤ button or with the le-hand
Touch Control. The display messages are saved in
the message memory.
Rectify the cause of a display message as quickly
as possible.
You cannot hide high-priority display messages.
The instrument cluster will show these display
messages until their causes have been rectied.
