Engine Oil
CAUTION
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD! Discharge of oil or oil waste into the environment is
restricted by law. Do not spill oil or oil waste into the environment when using or
servicing your boat. Contain and dispose of oil or oil waste as defined by local
authorities.

Checking
1. Stop the engine. Allow approximately 10 minutes for oil to drain into oil pan. The boat
must be at rest in the water.
2. Remove the dipstick. Wipe clean and reinstall fully into the dipstick tube.
3. Remove the dipstick and observe the oil level. The oil must be between the marks on
the dipstick. If necessary, add oil. Refer to Filling.
NOTE: The distance between marks is equivalent to approximately 1.0 liter (1 U.S. quart).
