Water hardness
Your dishwasher is fitted with a water
softener.
– You should programme the dish-
washer to the correct water hardness
for your area.
– Your local water authority will be able
to advise you of the water hardness
level in your area.
– Where the water hardness fluctuates
e.g. between 1.8 and 2.7mmol/l (10–
15°dH - German scale) always pro-
gramme the dishwasher to the higher
value (2.7mmol/l or 15°dH in this ex-
ample).
If the water hardness in your area is
available in a unit other than °dH, you
can convert the values as follows:
1°dH = 0.18mmol/l = 1.78°fH
Setting the water hardness level
Select the water hardness level in
your area and confirm using OK.
AutoDos (Automatic dispens-
ing)
If you later wish to change the fill level
or dispensing amount of the PowerDisk,
you can adjust the pre-set values ac-
cording to the information on the pack-
aging.
These settings are important in order for
the PowerDisk almost emptymessage to
be displayed correctly. These settings
have no influence on the amount of de-
tergent dispensed in each wash pro-
gramme.
Setting Fill level PowerDisk
The PowerDisks currently available con-
tain 400g of detergent.
Select the Fill level PowerDiskmenu op-
tion and confirm with OK.
Enter the PowerDisk fill quantity and
confirm with OK.
Setting Dosage amount
The PowerDisks currently available dis-
pense approximately 7g of detergent
per rotation.
Select the Dosage amountmenu op-
tion and confirm with OK.
Select the dispensing quantity of the
PowerDisk and confirm with OK.
