4.5 Troubleshooting Guide
4.5.1 Power On/Off Failures
Symptom Possible Causes Corrective Actions
Batteries are not
installed;
The pulse oximeter is
turned on when being
connected with the
charger stand.
Install batteries and then check if the pulse
oximeter can be powered on.
Batteries discharged. Replace the alkaline batteries or charge the
lithium-ion battery.
Batteries make
improper electrical
contact
Check that batteries contact the pulse oximeter
properly.
Power supply
protection
Check that power supply voltage meets the
requirement.
The pulse oximeter
fails to start.
Main board defective Replace the main board.
