Beforeusingtheautomationforthersttime,ensurethattheinstallerexplainsthesourcesofresidualrisks,andtakecaretoreadtheinstruc-
tion manual. Keep the manual for consultation when in doubt and ensure supply to new owners of the automation.
CAUTION!-Yourautomationisamachinethatperformscommandsimpartedbytheuser;negligentorimproperusemaycon-
stituteahazard:
- Never activate automation controls if persons, animals or objects are present in the operating range.
-NEVERtouchpartsoftheautomationwhilethegateismoving!
- Photocells do not constitute actual safety devices, but are rather safety aids. They are designed using highly reliable technol-
ogy, but in extreme conditions may be subject to malfunctions or potential faults, and in certain cases these faults are not im-
mediatelyevident.Forthisreason,makesuretoobservethefollowingwarningswhenusingtheautomation:
- Transit is admitted only if the gate is completely open and stationary
-Transitwhilethegateisclosingisstrictlyprohibited!
-Checktheoperationofthephotocellsandothersafetyequipmentfromtimetotime.
1-Children:anautomationsystemguaranteesahighlevelofsafety,
using special detection devices to prevent movement in the presence
ofpersonsorobjects,therebyguaranteeingconstantforeseeableand
safeactivation.However,itisadvisabletoensurethatchildrendonot
playinthevicinityof theautomationtoavoid inadvertentactivation,
and remote controls should always be kept out of reach. It is not a toy!

withreducedphysical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorwholackex-
perienceandknowledge,unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionor
instruction concerning the use of the product by a person responsible
for their safety.
3-Malfunctions: As soonas you note amalfunction or anomaly,
disconnect the power supply from and activate the manual release.
Donotattempttorepairthesystemyourself,butcontactyourinstaller.
Meanwhile,thedoorcanbeoperatedmanually,oncethegearmotor
has been disengaged as described below. In case of breakage or
power failure,whilewaitingforyourinstallertoservicethesystemor
forpowertoberestored,theautomationisstilloperable.Youmust
manually disengage the gearmotor (see the motor's instruction manu-
al) and move the gate by hand as desired.
4-Commandswithsafetyequipmentoutofservice: should the
system'ssafetyequipmentmalfunction,youcanstilloperatethegate
in “hold to run”mode,asfollows:
01. Sendacommandtooperatethegate,withatransmitterorthe
keyswitch,etc..IfeverythingisworkingOK,thenthegatewillop-
eratenormally,otherwiseproceedasfollows;
02. Within 3 seconds, press the control again, this time holding it
down;
03. After2seconds,thegatewilloperatein“hold to run”mode;i.e.,
the gate will move so long as the control is held down.
IMPORTANT!–Ifthesafetyequipmentisoutofservice,have
thesystemservicedassoonaspossiblebyaqualiedtechni-
cian.
5 - Evenifyoubelieveyouarecapableofdoingso,do not modify the
automationsystem'sinstallationorsettings: this must be done
only by your installer.
6 -Testing,periodicmaintenanceandanyrepairsmustbedocument-
edbythepersonperformingtheoperations,andtherespectivedocu-
ments must be kept by the system owner. The only job which may be
donebytheuser,andwhichwerecommenddoingonaregularbasis,
is to clean the photocell lenses and the automation system's glass
panels.Topreventpersonsfromactivatingthegate,beforeproceed-
ing,remembertoreleasetheautomation(seethemotor'sinstruction
manual),anduseonlyaslightlydampcloth(wateronly)forcleaning.
7-Scrapping:Attheendoftheautomation’slifetime,ensurethatitis
disposedofbyqualiedpersonnelandthatthematerialsarerecycled
or scrapped according to local regulations.
8-Manuallyreleasingandlockingthegearmotor: the gearmotor
is equipped with a mechanical release to enable manual opening and
closing of the gate.
These manual operations should only be performed in the event of a
powerfailure,malfunctionsorduringtheinstallationprocedures.
01. Slide the lock cover disk (step 1 - g.A);
02.FitandturnthekeyCW,thenpullthereleasehandle(steps 2 and
3 - g.A);
03. You can now move the gate by hand to the desired position (step
4 - g.A).
