NOTES
ON
BATTERIES
Warning: The voltage specification for AA-type Lithium
batteries
is
different than the voltage specification for
Manganese, Alkaline and NiCd AA-type batteries. As a
re
sult
of
the differences, and the lack
of
complete testing
for reliability and performance, AA-type Lithium batteries
should not be used
in
Nikon products. Use
of
AA-type
Lithium batteries could damage the electrical components
of
the Nikon products. Nikon products which use Lithium
batteries, other than the AA-type, are not affected by this
warning.
Compared with regular batteries, NiCd batteries provide
greater efficiency at low temperatures. Before charging
NiCd batterie
s,
thoroughly read the
in
structions for
batteries and the battery charger.
