10.5 Cleaning
Work Area Maintenance
The work area of the AMRs must be kept generally clean and free from clutter that could block
an AMR.
Anything spilled on the floor of the work area, such as dust, ice, pooled water, etc., must be
removed immediately, as this would interfere with the AMR’s ability to drive safely, as well as
navigate. Any substance that reduces the AMR’s traction with the floor will impair its ability
to drive, stop, turn, and navigate. Pay particular attention to areas around goals and fre-
quently-traveled paths.
LD Platform Cart Transporter and Cart
Some parts of the LD Platform Cart Transporter require periodic cleaning. The following table
gives a summary of cleaning procedures for the LD Platform Cart Transporter system.
