VPN Wizard
The VPN Wizard automates many of the steps in setting up a VPN tunnel. If you do not want
to use the VPN Wizard or its default settings are not appropriate for your circumstances, use
one of these alternatives:
• Auto Policy.
Auto Policy uses the IKE protocol to define the authentication scheme and
automatically generate the encryption keys. See Use Auto Policy to Configure VPN
Tunnels on page 88.
• Manual Policy. Manually enter the authentication and key parameters. See Use Manual
Policy to Configure VPN Tunnels on page 91.
To configure a gateway-to-gateway VPN tunnel using the VPN Wizard:
1. Select Advanced > VPN W
izard and click Next.
2. Fill in the Connection Name field and pre-shared key field.
3. Select the A remote VPN Gateway radio button and click Next.
4. Fill in the IP address or FQDN for the target VPN endpoint W
AN connection, and click Next.
5. Fill in the IP
Address and Subnet Mask fields for the target endpoint that can use this tunnel,
and click Next.
