• Analog input recording
1 Press EDIT/CLEAR/NO
repeatedly to display “Rec
Level?” (recording level).
2 Press REPEAT/YES.
3 Turn MULTI JOG to adjust the
recording level.
4 Press MULTI JOG.
“Complete” appears on the display.
Alternatively, press REPEAT/YES.

1 Press EDIT/CLEAR/NO
repeatedly to display “Rec
Level?” (recording level).
2 Press REPEAT/YES.
3 Turn MULTI JOG to adjust the
recording level.
You can adjust the level between
–10.0dB and +10.0dB, by 0.5dB steps
within the range of –5.0dB and +5.0dB,
and by 1.0dB steps outside this range.
4 Press MULTI JOG.
“Complete” appears on the display.
Alternatively, press REPEAT/YES.
Adjusting the recording level
Press CD/MD to select the MD information display while the FR-V77 is recording or in recording standby mode,
and follow the steps below to adjust the recording level.

6 Play the CD.
7 When recording is complete, press MD
(stop), then (eject).
Press MD to stop recording. The CD continues
playback.
The TOC indicator flashes and the FR-V77 writes the
TOC, then ejects the MD.

Numbering the desired song(s)
Press REC during recording of the desired song. If you do not
hold down
REC long enough (about four seconds or less), the
song may not be numbered.
Dubbing another CD
Press CD to stop playback, and replace the CD with another
one. The MD recorder enters recording standby mode.
Tip!
During recording, you can
check the elapsed time and
remaining time on the MD using
DISPLAY.
Selecting a song after
pausing the CD
The MD also enters recording
stand-by mode.
Use
/ on the remote
controller or MULTI JOG on the
main unit to select a song on
the CD, then press CD
or
the remote controller’s
. The
MD resumes recording.
When the TOC indicator is
lit or flashing

Checking the recording result

You can adjust in the
range of 1 through 4.
Adjust the level so that the level meter
reaches –6 to –2 dB with the loudest
sound.
Adjust the level so that the “OVER”
indicator will not light up.
