TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater does not kick-on then try turning the temperature up higher. The
thermostat needs to register a parcular temperature dierence in order to
turn on.
The pilot will click three mes and if it does not ignite it will wait 7-10 seconds
before re-trying. It will re-try this cycle three mes in total before moving to
error mode. You can use your Domec furnace user manual to idenfy the error
message but some quick troubleshoong ps are as follows:-
• Check you have enough propane in your propane cylinder
• Try turning the thermostat o completely – Turn the temperature all the
way to the le and the toggle on/o switch to the right. Wait for the air
cycle to complete and the fan to stop then wait 30 seconds before turn-
ing the heater on again. DO NOT use the switch on the control panel to
turn the furnace on & o as this can confuse the cool-down cycle of the
furnace.
• If it sll does not turn on, try re-seng the furnace. To do this, Turn the
temperature all the way to the le and the toggle on/o switch to the
right. Wait for the air cycle to complete and the fan to stop. Then re-set
the furnace by using the switch on the top of the furnace (pictured).
• Turn it o then on again to re-set the furnace then follow
the start-up quesons again.
• Check you are receiving propane to your kitchen stove to
idenfy whether there might be a regulator malfuncon.
