Mechanical hazard
Brushless synchronous motors can accelerate in milliseconds. Running
the motor can lead to other sections of the machine moving
dangerously. Moving parts must be screened off to prevent operators
coming into contact with them or to protect the people against a shaft
failure. The working procedure must allow the operator to keep well
clear of the danger area.
Burning Hazard
Always bear in mind that some parts of the surface of the motor can
reach temperatures exceeding 100°C.
